We do not have all of the animals at the shelter listed on
Petfinders. We update our list of pictures on Saturday, so animals that
come into the shelter during the week are not necessarily on our site.
Some animals that are listed my have already been adopted and not at the shelter
anymore. Please come down and see us or call and we will be glad to
help. If you are looking for a certain pet (breed, size, sex, etc) please
email us and we will try our best to keep an eye out for you and contact you
if something matching comes in.
Adoption Fees
Adopting a friend
Dogs/Puppies Adoption Fee = $30.00
Spay/Neuter Bond = $50.00 (Returned to you when animal is spayed or neutered)
Rabies Bond = $20.00 (Refunded, residents of C.B. only & for animals 6 months & older)
License Fee = $10.00 for altered dogs and $25 for unaltered dogs (Residents of
C.B. only & for animals 6 months & older)
Cats/Kittens Adoption Fee = $20.00

The shelter is located off the 24th Street exit in Council Bluffs (exit #1B)
where I-80 and S I-29 merge. Head North off the 24th Street exit (towards the
gas station and truck stops). The road will end and you will need to turn RIGHT
onto 23rd Avenue. Take another RIGHT onto 15th Street and follow the road until
it dead ends at the shelter. |
